Design Concept: Window Dressing
We wanted to find a way to showcase the beautiful and high quality cabinetry LifeArt Cabinetry offers. We framed a new viewing perspective through the use of storefront walls. It feels as if the shoppers are looking at the latest trends designed by an actual retail store. This new perspective elevates the cabinetry by presenting it as a "lifestyle."
This trade show booth for LifeArt Cabinetry at KBIS, the Kitchen Bath Industry Show, had some practical issues solve:
1. The entire booth of 30'x70' had to be easily disassembled and be assembled in 4 days at the trade show, including the walls, decoration, lights and kitchen appliances.
2. There was only one electrical box coming into the booth. All areas had to be connected to run electrical wires. At the same time, the ceiling needed to be kept opened to let in air and light from the convention hall.
3. LifeArt Cabinetry makes 12 cabinet styles, each with multiple finishes. We had to create as many display sets without the styles crashing with one another.
4. The booth had to accommodate as many participants possible but still allowed enough clearance to walk through as well as viewing the cabinetry from a distance.
